Big Little Book Award is back with its second edition

New Delhi [India] July 13 : Tata Trust's Parag Initiative is back with the second edition of Big Little Book Award (BLBA), which works as a platform to honour regional language writers and this year's selected language is Bengali.

Reading habit is important for a child's overall development. Though, in India English books are available to the elite class kids very easily, it is crucial to recognize books in regional Indian languages as well.

Indian literature is a part of its cultural heritage and hence, BLBA, Tata Trust's Parag Initiative acknowledges the Indian talent with an aim of imparting education and providing means to children.

Last year, the language opted for Big Little Book Award was Marathi and this year the focus has been set on Bengali language.

The nomination process to enroll is live now with July 15, 2017 set as the last date..
