Joint Venture SMA Eberspaecher Exhaust Systems Pvt. Ltd. extended considerably

Pune, Sept 23 (ANI/Business Wire India): The Joint Venture SMA Eberspaecher Exhaust Systems Pvt. Ltd. will move to a modern 5000 square metre plant, which is built in Chakan near Pune.

Sanjay Chopda. He will act as the Managing Director of the Joint Venture (which is planned to be re-named into SM Eberspaecher Exhaust Pvt. Ltd.).

which was founded in 1997 between Eberspaecher and SMA (S. M. Auto Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Pune India),he attached resident engineering office with its engineers trained in Germany will meet the increasing requirements for exhaust technology in India. The next step will be the creation of an entire development center including appropriate test and inspection equipments.

In future, Eberspaecher wishes to play a leading role in the exhaust technology area on the emerging Indian market. "Due to the dramatic speed of growth and the entry into the after-treatment of exhaust emissions, the Indian market offers to us excellent perspectives," explains Dr. Thomas Wunsche, Managing Director of Eberspaecher and responsible for Exhaust Technology. "Not only do we master the technologies that will be in demand there in future; we also can adjust them to the market-specific characteristics.

In doing so, we offer our customers not only product and process technologies according to Western standards but also the expertise for the requirements and cost structures of the Indian market."

Wunsche ranks the commercial vehicle sector as a special priority, which will take a technological jump in India during the next few years.
