TV journalist who recorded the public molestation arrested

Guwahati, July 21 : Gaurav Jyoti Neog, the television journalist accused of instigating a group of youth into molesting the teenage girl in Guwahati, has been arrested, after the High Court denied his anticipatory bail plea.
Neog was the first to record the molestation. He had to resign after activists accused him of masterminding the incident.
The Editor-in-chief of the television channel, Atanu Bhuyan resigned after he came under the scanner.
The girl was publicly grabbed and molested by a group of over 20 persons in the heart of Guwahati late on Monday night (July 9).
Six days after the incident, police arrested two more culprits.
Earlier, police had arrested four out of the 12 identified molesters, and they were presented before the mediapersons.
