Despite three top stars of the Indian cricket team - captain Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag and Mohammed Kaif - falling ill, coach Greg Chappell said Friday he was not distressed though he was "worried" ahead of the second Test against Sri Lanka beginning here Saturday.
"I'm worried but not distressed," Chappell said at a press conference less than 24 hours before the Test starts at the Ferozeshah Kotla here.
"Lots of players, including myself, have done well when were not 100 percent fit," said Chappell, a former Australia captain, said after the team's final practice session at the Palam Air Force ground.
While Sehwag was running fever and had a throat infection, the Indian team's media manager M. Baladitya only said that Dravid was "unwell". Dravid did not practice at all Friday.
Kaif went to the ground but returned to the hotel due a stomach ache.
