Samaresh Jung's gold haul - his fourth of the Commonwealth Games - continued as he topped both the qualification and the final round of the men's 50m air pistol individual.
He shot 554 out of 600 in qualifiers and then added a 96.2 in the final take the gold medal.
It was India's 13th gold medal of the Games and the tenth from shooting.
Samaresh has now won four gold and one silver in five events and has three more left.
The silver in the men's 50m air pistol went to Mick Gault of England and the bronze to Daniel Roger of Trinidad, who jumped from fifth in qualifiers to third after a fine final showing of 94.9.
