'Baba' audio released
The much awaited audio track of Rajini's Baba has been released. It hit the shops on July 31st. The music of Baba has been composed by A.R. Rahman. The songs include
1. Baba Theme song (Srinivas)
2. Tippu Tippu (Shankar Mahadevan)
3. Baba Kichu Kichu Moota Vaa (Reena Bharadwaj/ S.P.B)
4. Maya Maya (Karthik, Sujatha)
5. Rajyama (Jayachandran)
6. Shakthi Kodu (Karthik)

Songs #2 and #4 are real good, with #2 describing how a man's life can be viewed as made of three stages - childhood, youth and old age. The other songs are just average. However, Rahman's music sounds promising at places. Baba will be amply supported by its songs and more importantly Rahman's background score, which was the key factor to the success of 'Padayappa'. The movie will be released on August 15th.

The story of 'Baba'
Ever since Rajini's Baba was started, so many versions of its story have been coming out. The most recent version goes like this. Baba is a man who lives with the poor. He rises against those who exploit the poor and as a result earns the enmity of the local politicians. The villains assault Baba who becomes unconscious. Thinking he is dead, the rowdies throw him near the foothills of the Himalayas. A powerful Swamiji finds Baba lying unconscious and helps him regain consciousness. He gives Baba a magical ring that makes him invicible! With the aid of this ring, Baba demolishes the villains and restores peace and happiness to the poor masses. Ultimately, he returns the ring to the Swamiji and joins his poor friends back. Very interesting indeed!
