Alec Baldwin, Kate McKinnon recreate presidential debate at Saturday Night Live

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 1 : American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show, 'Saturday Night Live' recently welcomed back the year's presidential candidates in the form of Hollywood celebrities.

As the long-running NBC series kicked off Season 42 this evening, a familiar face decided to return to the sketch series, Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump along with Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton, reports E! Online.

The NBC network took to its official SNL Twitter handle to post "Ladies and gentlemen, @AlecBaldwin! #SNLPremiere." The talented actors recreated the first Presidential debate for Decision 2016 in a mock debate.

The Republican candidate would reveal his goals for the evening. "Good evening, America. I am going to be so good tonight," he shared. "I am going to be so calm and so presidential that all of you watching are going to cream your jeans." Trump's case of sniffles could not be ignored while Clinton walked in with a cane due to her recent pneumonia.

The 58-year-old actor wore a sleek suit blue suit and muted hair just like the businessman and politician would while the 32-year-old Emmy winner was clad in a very-Hillary-like red blazer and golden hair.

'Saturday Night Live' airs Saturday nights only on NBC..
