Alicia Keys, Adam Levine keep their teams intact on ‘The Voice’ double elimination night

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 30 : On the double-elimination night of 'The Voice' season 11, coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys were all hoping to keep their teams intact going into the semifinals but only Keys and Levine got to do that.

The show kicked off with a duet from Dolly Parton and Jennifer Nettles and the top 10 artists. Following this, America voted to save Team Adam's Brendan Fletcher and Team Blake's Sundance Head, reports billboard.com.

After a commercial break, Carson Daly brought the remaining artists back out onto the stage to announce the next of the results.

Team Alicia's Christian Cuevas advanced to the semifinals. He was joined by Team Miley's Ali Caldwell, who closed out last night's performances with a showstopper.

At this point, all four coaches had one artist through to the semifinals. As the next of the results came in, Daly announced that America voted to save Team Adam's country-turned-pop singer Billy Gilman.

Also though to the semifinals was Team Alicia's We McDonald, the youngest artist left in the competition.

With McDonald through, Keys' team remained intact. Cyrus took the stage with Parton next for a stellar duet of 'Jolene' marking the highlight of the night.

Next, Daly announced the last artist to automatically advance to the semifinals. Team Adam's Josh Gallagher. With this, Levine's team remained intact, and the remaining three artists all performed for the evening's instant save.

Team Blake's Austin Allsup and Courtney Harrell followed with their performance. Team Miley's Aaron Gibson closed out the night with one of his signature understated performances, singing 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.' With the votes in, Gibson was instantly saved for the third week in a row.

Harrell and Allsup, both from Team Blake, went home. Season 11's semifinals go down next week..
