Champions Trophy: New Zealand win toss, ask England to bat

Cardiff [UK], June 6 : New Zealand won the toss and chose to field against England in their second Group B encounter of the Champions Trophy at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on Tuesday.

The Black Caps have kept the same team which played against Australia at Edgbatson while England have called in spinner Adil Rashid as a replacement for Chris Woakes, who got injured during the first match against Bangladesh.

The Eoin Morgan-led side, who registered a comfortable eight-wicket win over Bangladesh at the Kennington Oval, will look to clinch second successive win to seal the semi-final spot in the eight-team marquee event.

Meanwhile, the Kiwis are still searching for their first victory after their opening clash against two-time winners Australia was largely affected by rain before it was eventually abandoned, with the Trans-Tasman rivals earning a point each.

A win for the Black Caps would put them in a strong position, in terms of progressing past the group stages.
