Chinese President extends condolence to Pakistan over Balochistan shrine attack

Beijing [China], Nov. 16 : Chinese President Xi Jinping has extended condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain over the recent terrorist attack on the Shah Noorani shrine in Balochistan that killed atleast 52 people.

In the message, Xi said he was shocked by the terrorist attack at a shrine in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan district on Saturday night, which caused heavy casualties, reports Xinhua.

On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Xi mourned the dead and expressed condolences to the injured and to the families of the victims.

He said that China opposes all forms of terrorism and strongly condemned the terrorist attack. China will always stand with the Pakistani people and continue to firmly support Pakistan in fighting against terrorism and in protecting its national stability and the safety of its people, the message said.
