Cricket fan spends over four dollars in campaign to get rid of Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland

Melbourne [Australia], Dec.29 : A fan of Australian cricket who goes by the name of Terry, has put up small stickers across the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in a bid to get the concerned authorities to sack or remove James Sutherland as CEO of Cricket Australia.

On Day four of the ongoing second Test match between Australia and Pakistan being played at the MCG, stickers with the words "Sutherland must go!" were seen across the ground in spite of the national team's ongoing winning spree after losing five Tests on the trot.

The fan's no-frills campaign, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, consisted of printed 180 stickers each costing 2.5 Australian cents, Australian dollars 4.50 in total.

The fan said that Sutherland must be told to go as he was treating Cricket Australia as his corporation rather than as the national game of Australians.

He also said that Cricket Australia needs to focus on winning games rather than earning substantial profits.
