Mumbai, Aug 14 : Private life insurer Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance on Tuesday announced the inking of bancassurance partnership with Fincare Small Finance Bank.
In a statement, the company said Edelweiss Tokio Life -- a joint venture between the Edelweiss Group and Tokio Marine Holdings -- would strengthen its bancassurance channel.
"We have been focused on strengthening our bancassurance channel and have found an ideal partner in Fincare Small Finance Bank.
As new age entities, it is an exciting opportunity for us to grow together," Sumit Rai, MD (and) CEO, of Edelweiss Tokio Life was quoted as saying in a statement.
According to the life insurer, the focus will be on using technology for creating a superior customer experience from day one.
"As we move forward in our crucial phase of expansion, like-minded partners like Edelweiss Tokio Life will help us bring a compelling financial offering to our customers," Rajeev Yadav, MD (and) CEO, Fincare Small Finance Bank was quoted as saying in the statement.
