First lady wears Herve Pierre’s off-shoulder dress at inaugural ball

Washington D.C. [USA], Jan. 21 : For Friday night's inaugural ball, the First lady Melania Trump was seen draped in a beautiful white off-the-shoulder column gown with a sculptural organza ruffle and red belt designed by none other than Herve Pierre.

The gown, in six-ply vanilla crepe, was a cut off the shoulder with a full-length gazar arc opening into a deep side slit.

A red silk faille ribbon fastened the First Lady's waist. The gown was designed with inputs from Melania herself. Pierre, who formerly worked with fashion designer Carolina Herrera, has dressed all the former first ladies including, Mrs.

Clinton at Oscar, Mrs. Bush and Mrs. Obama at Carolina Herrera. To create this custom look, the First Lady worked with Pierre, reports the Hollywood Reporter. Pierre has been working with Melania for years and has also been styling her looks by other designers.

Meanwhile, she was keeping her looks monochromatic during the jam-packed weekend. After President Donald Trump arrived with first lady Melania Trump at the Liberty Ball in Washington, their first dance was to Frank Sinatra's 1969 hit "My Way." The Liberty and Freedom Balls are being held at the Walter E.

Washington Convention Center, where the president and first lady are expected first. The guests at the event enjoyed performances of the The Radio City Rockettes and American Jazz singer Erin Boheme.

Another gala is being held at the National Building Museum for veterans and their families where singer Tony Orlando kept waiting guests entertained.
