Jakarta, Sep 16 : With 3,963 new Covid cases, Indonesia's tally mounted to 228,993, while the death toll reached 9,100 with 135 new fatalities, the Health ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, 3,036 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 164,101, Xinhua news agency reported.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, over the past 24 hours Jakarta recorded 1,294 new cases, East Java 372, Central Java 340, West Java 293 and East Kalimantan 217.
