JK: BSF head constable killed in Pak shelling in Rajouri

Jammu [India], Nov. 21 : Border Security Force head constable Rai Singh succumbed to his injuries in the heavy shelling by Pakistan in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir last night.

A wreath laying ceremony with full honours will be held for him today in Rajouri and from there his body will be taken to his hometown for final rites.

Pakistan violated ceasefire in Manjakote sector in Rajouri last night and the firing continued all night, to which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply.

"We have not seen this kind of firing before in this area. Mortar are being fired on people houses. But our team is ready and prepared for any type of firing," Manjakote SHO, Mohd Younus Choudhary told ANI.
