Johannesburg, Aug.3 : Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has issued a warning to new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, saying that winning silverware in the Premier League will not be as easy for the latter as in Germany or Spain.
Guardiola, who replaced Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad, had led Barcelona to 14 titles during his time in charge before clinching three consecutive Bundesliga titles and two German Cups in his three-year spell with Bayern Munich.
Downplaying Guardiola's brilliant record of victories, Klopp believes success would be hard to come for former Bayern Munich boss in England, which feature the most difficult league of football, Sport24 reported.
Klopp further suggested that if someone is looking for the biggest challenge, then he or she should compete in England.
Guardiola will start his career as City's manager with a Premier League clash against David Moyes' Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium on August 13.
