New Delhi [India], Jan.25 : Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has conveyed greetings on the eve of the Republic day.
In her message, Smt. Mahajan said: "On the occasion of 68th Anniversary of our Republic, I greet all my brothers and sisters.
On this occasion, let us remind ourselves of the noble values and ideals enshrined in the Constitution." "I also convey my greetings to our security forces who brave all adversities to safeguard our country and our borders.
I also pay homage to martyrs, who laid their lives for protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the nation," Mahajan added.
On the occasion, Mahajan also asked the citizens of the country to take a pledge to work for making India a strong and vibrant democracy and to ensure peace and prosperity of all our people.
