Washington D.C. [USA], Dec. 5 : Marvel recently announced on social media that 'Luke Cage', one of its fans' favourite television series, has been renewed on Netflix for a second season.

The second season does not have a premiere date yet, however, the Twitter tease says it's "SEASON 2 COMING SOON" written under the familiar 'Pop's Barber Shop' where Cage worked after returning to Harlem.
The action-packed drama also stars Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Rosario Dawson, and Theo Rossi. Coulter will reprise the role of Luke Cage in the upcoming crossover series 'The Defenders' from Marvel that will also feature Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).
