‘Madaari’ gets thumbs up from B-Town directors

New Delhi, July 21 : Irrfan Khan's upcoming movie 'Madaari' has received overwhelming response by the filmmakers of the tinsel town. The makers arranged a special screening of the Nishikant Kamat directed movie for acclaimed directors like David Dhawan, Homi Adjania, Imtiaz Ali, Hansal Mehta and others. According to David Dhawan, "Nishikant is a competant director, the script is very good, the way they have edited the film is fantastic, over all a good film. It has a hold, Irrfan has always been nice and sincerely works and is a commercial actor. "I thought it was absolutely fantastic, it's a film that should have been made sooner or later. It's extremely poignent and I think fortunately can expect anything from Irrfan because he is the best so that is a different story. It's a beautiful movie, very poignent movie with a solid message," said Homi Adjania. Imtiaz Ali stated, "I think it is a very relevant film which every Indian should watch. Lot of truth is being spoken in a very bold manner. It is very honestly written, very powerfully done, it really catches you and everything is very good. " "It is a great story and has a very emotionally effective climax. Bahut sundar," said Sudhir Mishra. Hansal Mehta shared, "I was very moved and the film is very timed film. I think this film raises questions and also tries to find the answers. Advice to people: Desh so raha hai, jaagne ka samay aagaya hai. Madaari aapko jaga degi." Earlier, Nishikant and Irrfan worked together in 'Mumbai Meri Jaan' in 2008. According to the 49-year-old actor, his upcoming flick 'Madaari is a movie "about many issues, it is also about accountability, accountability to the promises that are made to the common people."
