Nepalese PM to hold bilateral meeting with Chinese President in Goa

Kathmandu [Nepal], Oct. 14 : Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit in Goa on Saturday evening.

Holding a press conference here on Friday, Nepalese Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said the Nepalese Prime Minister would depart for Goa on Saturday to attend the BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit, where he would meet the Chinese President in the evening.

Hold the meeting between President Xi and Prime Minister Prachanda as "important", the Foreign Affairs Minister said the Prime Minister would also extend his invitation to the Chinese President to visit Kathmandu.

Mahat further said Prime Minister Prachanda would also hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Sunday.

Meanwhile, President Pranab Mukherjee is scheduled to visit Nepal in November for three days..
