Pakistan arrests 29 Indian fishermen for violating sea limits

Karachi [Pakistan], Apr 27 : Pakistan on Thursday arrested 29 Indian fishermen near its coast alleging that they violated the maritime boundaries.

Five boats were also seized alongside the Indian fishermen, Geo News quoted a spokesperson of the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) as saying.

The detained Indian fishermen have been handed over to the Docks Police. Earlier on April 9, then PMSA detained six fishing boats and arrested 42 Indian fishermen on board from near International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) off Jakhau coast in Kutch.

Last month, nearly 100 Indian fishermen were taken into custody for fishing illegally in Pakistan's sea boundaries.

In addition, 19 boats were also held during the MSA's raid..
