Parliament security breach: Have not committed any mistake, says Mann

Ludhiana (Punjab) [India], Dec. 9 : Hours after the nine member committee suspended AAP MP Bhagwant Mann for the rest of the Winter Session for breaching security by filming the parliament, the lawmaker from Sangrur on Friday asserted that he did not commit any mistake and only wanted to show how the Parliaments works.

Mann further alleged a political conspiracy for his suspension and said the he is being deliberately targeted keeping in view of Punjab assembly polls.

"I don't think I have committed any grave mistake, I just wanted to show to public how the Parliament works.

And if someone thinks that I have offended anyone to which I have already tendered an unconditional apology in front of the Speaker," Mann told ANI.

"I feel it is a political conspiracy to keep me way from the House. I represent 15 lakh people, why are they being targeted. I wanted to speak on Dalit issues, on farmer issues, I wanted to speak against demonetization," he added.

The House will adopt a resolution on it on Friday and a decision will be taken in this regard. The report was laid before the House on Thursday. In July this year, Mann filmed parliament house and posted a 12-minute video on social media. He videographed his journey from home to parliament house and live streamed it on Facebook..
