New Delhi, Aug. 14 : Model-turned actress Tapsee Paanu celebrated the Independence Day by talking about her upcoming realistic film 'Pink' with the BBC Radio in London.
The 29-year-old actress, who made her cinematic debut in 2010 with 'Jhummandi Naadam', shared her excitement about the BBC interview with her fans through social media.
"Celebrating Independence Day by taking my very own Indian film all the way to the London BBC! #pink. Jai Hind," she tweeted. The 'Chashme Baddoor' actress also took the opportunity to talk about women empowerment and said "it must happen now," tweeted the interviewers...She will be seen along with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming film. Directed by Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the movie carries a heart-wrenching subject of sexual harassment and is a courtroom drama.
'Pink' will release on September 16..
