SC lawyer files application to register FIR against Sisodia

New Delhi, Dec 16 : A Supreme Court lawyer Alakh Alok Srivasatava on Monday filed an application demanding that the Delhi Police register an FIR against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

IANS has the copy of the application with the signet of Room No.

1 of the Delhi Police.

Though Delhi Police spokesperson Mandeep Singh Randhawa has not issued any official statement regarding the application whereas the additional PRO of Delhi Police Anil Mittal has denied receiving any such application.

Mittal told IANS: "I am not aware of any such application.

The application might have been filed at the new headquarters at Jai Singh Road. The applicant might give better information about it."

"On Sunday, Manish Sisodia sidelined all the laws and added fuel to the fire in the Jamia violence by spreading rumours through his Tweets.

This was done with a sense of political rancour," Srivastava told IANS.

Srivastava, in his application, said that should Sisodia do this being a Deputy Chief Minister or an Education Minister? If not, then the Delhi Police should file an FIR against him.
