New Delhi [India], Mar. 18 : Designer duo Shivan and Narresh sauntered on legendary painter Egon Schiele's twisted body forms and his uninhibited brilliance with candid nudity at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2017, day three.
Their show was set amidst Schiele's works and featured animation of his celebrated works featuring landscapes, riversides to contorted human figures.
Speaking on the same, Narresh said, "The beauty look for the show puts focus on clean faces, accentuated by glossy cheek bones and deep lips.
The look is further accentuated with sunglasses and headbands featuring the key techniques of the season- from Schiele Edges to Skein Work." Their collection carried various details in its different sections- from hand-cut details like the Schiele Edges on the swimsuits reminiscent of his jagged line work, to the lustrous, gleaming fabrics, innovated exclusively for the collection.
Shivan further explained, "Our designs have largely catered day to day lifestyles and this season, we moved to the more evening and opulent part of holidays and destination weddings, Hence, the details and surfaces became key to the collection." Adding, "The colour palette and prints were imbibed with deep richness to easily drift the mood from day to evening for celebrations that could range from cocktails to destination weddings.".
