Something is wrong if Oppn. starts trusting Govt.: BJP

New Delhi [India], Nov. 26 : Shrugging off Congress leader Kapil Sibal's attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he has no faith in the Centre post demonetisation, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday asserted that if the Opposition starts showing trust in the government then something is amiss.

Speaking to ANI here, BJP leader Meenakshi Leki said that when it comes to faith, it is that of the public which matters.

"We don't need Kapil Sibal's trust. If the opposition starts trusting the government then something is wrong. The people of this country have faith in the Prime Minister and that is what matters. Sibal needs to reread his political science," she said. Yesterday, Sibal took on the Prime Minister in a press conference saying he had promised the people that Rs.

80 lakh crore would be reclaimed but he has failed to fulfil any of his promises which made him unworthy of trust.

"Modiji promised that he would bring back Rs 80 lakh crore black money back to India. Has he fulfilled that promise? No. Two years have passed, but Lokpal is still sleeping under the racks. We don't believe in this Prime Minister, who has only made empty promises. He doesn't deserve to be trusted upon," He said that the demonetisation issue is not ordinary as it affects the common man's survival.

"80,000 crore people of the country are earning less than Rs. 10,000. Do they have black money? Those people doesn't have a bank account, an identification number, does not have an identity, is a casual labour and is working under a farmer, a migrant labour works from Bihar to Punjab, earns Rs.

200-500. Does he have black money? What will he do? What will his family do?" Sibal questioned..
