Suicide bombing kills 27 at Kabul mosque

Kabul [Afghanistan], Nov. 21: The death toll in today's deadly suicide bombing at a Shia mosque in Char Qala in Kabul city has risen to 27.

As per the police, at least 35 people sustained injuries. The injured have been taken to the hospital and officials said that the injured were still arriving, reports Tolo News.

Officials added that children were also amongst the victims. Early reports suggested that explosives were detonated by a suicide bomber during a Shia ceremony at the Baqir-ul-Olum mosque.

The attack was confirmed by the Ulema Council. Taliban claimed that it was not responsible for the attack..
