Three terrorists killed in Kupwara encounter

Srinagar, Aug. 21 : The Indian Army's 4 Para Commandos on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, killing three terrorists in an encounter.

According to reports, the slain terrorists were involved in the August 19 attack on the BSF camp in Karnah area of Kupwara district in which three security personnel were injured.

The entire area has been cordoned off as attempts are being made to smoke out the terrorists. Earlier in June, the Army foiled an infiltration bid by killing two militants in Tangdhar sector near the Line of Control.
