Twitterati praise David Warner for his triple hundred

New Delhi, Nov 30 : Australian opener David Warner slammed his maiden triple hundred in Test cricket at the Adelaide Oval during the ongoing 2nd Test vs Pakistan on Saturday.

Warner's triple hundred is actually the first from an Australian since former captain Michael Clarke hit 329* vs India in January 2012.

Warner's 300 came off just 389 balls and is now also the fourth fastest triple hundred ever in Test cricket.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag holds the record for the fastest triple hundred ever as he took just 278 balls against South Africa in Chennai in 2007-08.

As soon as David Warner achieved this milestone, twitter was flooded with amazing reactions for the Australian cricketer.

Cricket Australia also took to their twitter and shared a video of David Warner's 300 at Adelaide Oval.

Cricket Australia tweeted, "For the first time EVER at the Adelaide Oval, 300 for Dave Warner! @Domaincomau."

Another user wrote: "David Warner's 275* is now the highest individual Test score since Karun Nair's 303* against England at Chennai in Dec 2016.#AusvPak."

"Dave Warner just broke Don Bradman's record at Adelaide Oval and celebrated his 300 like a maniac but FC Tokyo is trending number 7 in Australia", wrote a user.

A fan gushed, "David Warner becomes the first to score a Test triple in nearly three years, and it's the first at Adelaide Oval."
