1D reunites on X Factor to support grieving Louis Tomlinson after his mum’s death

London [UK], Dec. 11 : Members of One Direction, which is currently on a hiatus, recently reunited to support their fellow member Louis Tomlinson following the tragic death of his mother Johannah Deakin.

Niall Horan flew in from New York to be with Louis and was joined by Liam Payne and Harry Styles at the Wembley Arena after Tomlinson's performance on 'The X Factor' final, reports mirror.co.uk.

This is the first time that the bandmates have been back together following their decision to take an extended break.

"Harry, Niall and Liam all wanted to be there to support Louis tonight for what was undoubtedly one of the most difficult moments of his life," an insider told The Sun.

"It was an incredible and special thing for them to get back together as a four and be like brothers again.

Niall flew in overnight from New York so he could be there and Liam came from Los Angeles. It was that important they were together," the source added. Reportedly, the singers were "all in Louis's dressing room together" during the "incredible emotional" night that witnessed the One Direction star flying solo for the first time on the show after losing his mother to leukemia.

While former bandmate Zayn Malik was not there with the boys, he did share his support for the 24-year-old singer after the sad news broke about Johanna's death.

Simon Cowell, who also lost his mother last year, consoled the star and praised him after his performance.

After sharing a few moments to chat, an emotional Tomlinson could be seen throwing his arms around his mentor for a tight embrace.
