Aarti Chabria’s directorial debut ‘Mumbai Varanasi Express’ screened at 7th Jagran Film Festival

New Delhi [India], Sept. 27 : Debutant producer-director Aarti Chhabria and her short film 'Mumbai Varanasi Express' was the cynosure of all eyes on the first day the seventh Jagran Film Festival in Mumbai.

Aarti's directorial debut 'Mumbai Varanasi Express,' starring Darshan Zariwala, was the opening film of the International Competition section featuring 46 short films from 30 countries, with genres ranging from action, comedy, drama, mystery and more.

Spotted at the screening of the 33-year-old's short film were Colors CEO Raj Nayak, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and singer Kailash Kher and others.

The film talks about the lead protagonist Krishnakant Jhunjhunwala, played by Darshan Zariwala, founder of a 1500-crore empire who is suffering from cancer.

During the last stages of his life, he decides to check into Mukti Dham or the death hostel in Benaras, awaiting death to attain Moksha.

Here, he learns a few important lessons that gives a new meaning to his life and awakens his soul..
