New Delhi [India], Oct. 10 : The Congress party on Monday welcomed the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's support to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on his statement of 'khoon ki dalali', saying that his statement indicates that he is on the same wavelength as Rahul.
"125 crore people of India has the same question that has been asked by Akhilesh Yadav that whether in past 68 years the Indian Army has not done nothing.
Rahul Gandhi have just said that there should be no politics on the on the martyr soldiers. Akhilesh might have the same thinking and we welcome it," said Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala.
Earlier, Akhilesh expressed full support for Rahul Gandhi. "If Rahul must have said this, he must have a reason," he said. Akhilesh made these remarks during the launching of the Samajwadi Party 'smart phone yojana'. Yadav took a dig at Prime Minister Modi saying that 'achhe din' is yet to reach Uttar Pradesh..
