Alec Baldwin returns to host ‘SNL’ as Trump and makes it great again

Washington D.C. [USA], Feb. 12 : It was for the 17th time that American actor and comedian Alec Baldwin hosted the 'Saturday Night Live' show.

He returned on the stage as U.S. President Donald Trump with pucker lips and a yellow wig. Baldwin has frequently played Trump's character in this season and the latest episode took a dig on the President's travel ban.

The "SNL" alum Tracy Morgan also made an appearance in a non-Trump sketch, playing one of Beyonce's twins, in utero, alongside Kenan Thompson.

American actress Melissa McCarthy also returned to the show by playing White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Appearing on the episode of 'The People's Court' in which he filed a case against the federal judges who opposed his controversial travel ban, Baldwin as Trump asked for "broad, unchecked power." Interestingly, this show was hosted by President Trump himself 15 months ago.

'SNL' announced during its latest broadcast that Octavia Spencer, the Oscar nominee for "Hidden Figures", will host the next edition on March 4.
