B-Town filmmakers hail Rahul Bose’s ‘Poorna’

New Delhi [India], Mar. 21: Rahul Bose's sincere effort to tell the inspiring journey of 'Poorna' is getting thumbs up from the filmmakers of Bollywood.

The movie, with its motivational content, got exceptional response at a special screening held for the directors and producers.

Director Zoya Akhtar shared her 'Poorna' experience, saying, "I didn't know this little girl existed and now that I know her, things will never be the same again.

Poorna is so inspiring - an absolute must watch." Moved by the film, 'Rangoon' director Vishal Bhardwaj said, "Poorna' is a remarkable story, extremely well told.

Emotionally moving and thrilling at the same time. You are rooting for the young girl throughout the film to achieve her goal of conquering Everest. Rahul and team have put together a wonderfully special film." Vipul Amrutlal Shah was seen raving about the film.

He said, "'Poorna' is emotionally moving and thrilling at the same time. It's got great performances and technical polish!" Rahul Bose has been overwhelmed with the positive response towards the movie by filmmakers.

Fashion photographer and Bollywood film producer Atul Kasbekar could not stop praising the movie, "'Poorna' is a special film about a very special and massively inspiring young girl.

The story of the youngest ever to climb Everest at 13. That's incredible." The film highlights the cause of gender inequality and inspires to achieve dreams against all odds.

'Poorna' is a biopic based on the life of Poorna Malavath, a 13 year old Indian girl who created History by turning the world's youngest person to scale the Mount Everest on May 25th, 2014.

The movie is helmed by Rahul Bose, produced by Rahul Bose Productions, Raay Media Pvt Ltd and Co-produced by Amit Patni.
