Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 24 : The classic white gold engagement ring that Kristen Stewart wore while playing Bella Swan in the 'Twilight' series recently fetched a whopping 16, 800 dollars at a mega auction.
Twi-hards near and far gathered for an exciting two-day auction at the 'Hollywood Chinese Theater' on November 19 and 20, when memorabilia company 'Prop Store' put over 900 of the film's biggest props up for bid, reports E! Online.
The fan who ended up scoring Swan's engagement ring from Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) beat out over a thousand other bidders.
Other props that sold at the auction included Cullen's journal, which went for 7,800 dollars as well as Swan's meadow costume, which closed at 8,400 dollars.
"We're thrilled with the interest and participation in this exclusive auction event," said the prop store's COO Brandon Alinger in a statement.
"The films have a global following, which was very evident with the worldwide response from bidders over the weekend.
For Twilight fans, this auction offered an amazing opportunity to own a piece of the phenomenon and we were proud to partner with Lionsgate on the project," he added.
