Ben Affleck juggles between kids` math homework, successful film career

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 1 : American actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck recently shared his mantra for leading a happy family life along with pursuing a successful career as an actor.

The 44-year-old star, who has won numerous awards, including two Oscars for 'Best Picture' and 'Best Original Screenplay,' admitted that he is totally game for helping his eldest child with homework, reports E! Online.

"I was doing math homework last night," the father of three said. "When I'm there, you're stuck with your parents helping you with your homework. Jen [Garner]'s very good at math [too]. So far, my eldest kid is in fifth grade and they haven't passed me yet. But I feel like in seventh or eighth grade, I'm going to start worrying that they're going to lose me," he expressed.

The actor who began his acting career as a child actor in "The Voyage of the Mimi" also reflects on the importance of being "involved with your kids' schoolwork so you know what's going on and what they're doing and what you're supposed to be supporting and going to school nights." Talking of the upcoming American action thriller film, 'The Accountant,' the filmmaker said he was surprised by how "smart and intricate" the unconventional protagonist Christian Wolff was.

"It was a no-brainer.I just wanted to jump on board," he said. Directed by Gavin O'Connor, 'The Accountant,' also starring Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow and is slated to hit theaters on October 20..
