Cuts suggested by HC accepted: Akshay on deleted scenes in ‘Jolly LLB 2’

New Delhi [India], Feb. 7 : Not to worry anymore! Jolly LLB 2 will hit the screens on February 10, assured lead actor Akshay Kumar.

During a press conference of the movie, the 49-year-old actor was asked about the Bombay High Court's order of deletion of four scenes, to which he said, its only one scene the court has asked four cuts for, adding that they have accepted the order.

"It was just one scene that the High Court asked for four cuts. We have accepted it and worked accordingly. We ready to release it on February 10. Everything has got solved last evening," cleared the actor here, adding, "I request you all not to elaborate things anymore." For the unversed, Ajaykumar Waghmare, the petitioner of the case had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, alleging that certain scenes in the movie depict the Judiciary and the legal professional in bad light, following which the High Court formed the committee to watch the movie and submit a report on the same.

Waghmare has also asked the court to drop the word 'LLB' from the title of the movie. In 2013 also, the original Jolly LLB, starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, faced the same problems from lawyers in Meerut.

The Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi starrer movie, which is a sequel of 2013, 'Jolly LLB' movie, is scheduled to be released on February 10.

The movie, which will feature Akshay in the role of a lawyer, also stars Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor.
