David Lynch puts down his director’s hat for movies

London [UK], May 7 : Those waiting for another David Lynch directorial, it's time you popped your bubble as he recently revealed that he has already put down his director's hat.

In an interview with Sydney Morning Herald, the 71-year-old director told that the 2006 movie 'Inland Empire' was his last movie and he won't be making any other movie in the future.

The 'Twin Peaks' creator noted, "Things changed a lot. So many films were not doing well at the Box Office even though they might have been great films and the things that were doing well at the box office weren't the things that I would want to do." His movie credits include titles like 'Mulholland Drive,' 'Dune,' 'Eraserhead' and 'The Elephant Man.' The 'Mulholland Drive' helmer is currently busy in reviving his popular sitcom 'Twin Peaks' for a third season 16 years after the cult series drew to a close, directing all eight episodes.
