Disney’s new princess Moana won’t fall in love
Washington D.C, Jul 23 : Step aside, Elsa! Disney's newest princess Moana is all about "finding herself" and not her own version of Prince Charming. Moana, the titular character in Disney's first-ever animated film about a Polynesian princess, will not fall in love, the Entertainment Weekly reported. Directors Ron Clements and John Musker, best known for 'Aladdin,' told a Comic Con panel that Moana, voiced by Auli'i Cravalho, will remain prince-less while battling to save the world with legendary demigod Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson. Those lucky enough to attend the event in San Diego were shown the first three minutes of the film and given more details of the plot. Set 2,000 years ago in the South Pacific, the flick will tell the story of a 16-year-old princess with the power to control the ocean who teams up with Maui to search for a mythical land. 'Moana' is set to hit the theatres on November 23, 2016.
