"India leads the pack when it comes to demand for new air conditioners and in fact it is the only country where the demand for ACs is the highest.
Also, water coolers and power inverters are two exclusive categories whose demand chiefly comes only from India.
As far as demands for other appliances are concerned, for air coolers India and China clock the highest, Taiwan and India take the lead for refrigerators and India and Sri Lanka top the charts for ceiling fans demands," said Sunil Gupta, Founder and Director, ExportersIndia.com.
