Eyeing Indian Open title, PV Sindhu has something new up her sleeve

New Delhi [India], Mar. 27 : Expressing confidence on giving her best in the upcoming Indian Open World Super Series badminton tournament, Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has said that she is confident to bring something new to the court in order to win the tournament.

"I have been working hard and practicing on my strokes, so definitely, I have that confidence that I can give my best and try something new," Sindhu told ANI.

She said that each tournament is equally different, and the completion is always high, adding that from first round itself it's not going to be easy during the Indian Open.

"We should not take it easy anyway as each tournament is equally tough because each player has different style of play and each one has different strategy that way." she said.

Sindhu said the winner of the game depends on who plays well on the match day and gives their best. "We can't compare with each player and speaking about other Indian players like Saina, we can't even compare with her as well, because she has a different strategy and different style of play," she said.

Talking about World No. 1 Carolina Marin, Sindhu said that she was a very aggressive player, however, adding that her own game was an attacking one.

Indian Open World Super Series badminton tournament, which carries a total prize money of USD 325,000, is beginning here in the capital from Tuesday.
