Harry Kane’s brace helps Spurs edge past Everton 3-2 in PL

London [U.K], Mar.5 : Striker Harry Kane continued his supreme run of form as his two goals saw Tottenham Hotspur edge past Everton 3-2 in their Premier League clash at the White Hart Lane here on Sunday.

Kane put his side ahead in the 20th minute of the match before doubling the lead in the 56th minute, goal.com reported.

In the 81st minute, Romelu Lukaku pulled one back for Everton to become the club's outright top scorer in Premier League history.

However, the hosts soon made amends by restoring their two-goal cushion via Dele Alli's neat flick just seconds before the final whistle.

Although Everton did pulled one more goal for themselves at a stoppage time through substitute Enner Valencia, it was just not enough to beat Tottenham.

While Tottenham are standing second in league table, Everton are languishing down to the seventh spot.

Tottenham, who have 16 wins from 27 games they have played, will lock horns with Crystal Palace in their next league clash.
