Herbal, traditional Indian medicine fair ends today

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India] Nov. 28 : Three days herbal and traditional Indian medicine fair which begun on Saturday will culminate today.

The fair showcased the alternative medicine clinics, technical sessions of yoga and stalls of traditional medicine.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the fair which was organised by the Union Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda Yoga and Naturopath, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) in collaboration with the state Ayurveda Department.

The main objective to organise this fair was to make people aware of the benefits of Ayurveda and traditional Indian medicines.

The fair attracted eyeballs of not only Indian but foreign tourists also. "The fair has triggered the desire to learn more about Indian traditional medicine and yoga," said one of the Tourists visiting the stalls.
