India for action against terrorists, asks Pak to honour commitment

New Delhi, Oct. 27 : Demanding action against terrorists, India has asked Pakistan to honour its commitments made in the past not to allow its territory to be used by terror elements.

Responding to a poser on the ceasefire violations and continuing attacks, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup said all terrorists' attacks in parts of Jammu and Kashmir are being carried out with Pakistan's support, adding this is a matter of grave concern.

Swarup said Pakistan instead of taking action against terrorists is providing shelter to them. Meanwhile, India also made it clear that it will welcome Pakistan at the Heart of Asia Conference in Amritsar scheduled to be held on December 4.

Replying to a poser, the MEA spokesperson said this is a multilateral meeting to discuss the peace, development and economic co-operation in Afghanistan.

Swarup further said India is committed to peace and prosperity of Afghanistan, adding the conference is an important forum in this regard.
