Bengaluru, Oct 16 : Software major Infosys on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 4,110 crore, a 10.3 per cent on-year rise for the quarter ended September 30.
The profit-after-tax for the second quarter of this fiscal year ending March 31 was 13.8 per cent higher sequentially.
In an exchange filing, the city-based software exporter said its consolidated revenue for the quarter grew 17.3 per cent on year to Rs 20,609 crore.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the increase in revenue was 7.3 per cent.
In dollar terms, net profit grew a meagre 0.5 per cent on year to (Dollar) 581 million in the three months through September.
Sequentially, it grew 8.8 per cent.
Revenue in dollar terms during the quarter rose 7.7 per cent on year to (Dollar) 2,921 million.
