Bhubaneswar, Feb 8 : A woman tourist from Italy has lodged a complaint against a hotel's staff in Odisha's Puri alleging misbehaviour and harassment, police said on Thursday.
"The tourist has alleged the hotel staff misbehaved with her.
We are inquiring into the matter," said officer Debasis Mishra.
Following Fiorella Bizzaro's complaint, Hotel Krishna Residency's proprietor Hemant Bhanja was detained for interrogation.
The incident took place in the pilgrim city on Wednesday evening, said police.
The woman said she booked a hotel room online in October.
After her arrival on Wednesday, she demanded the perquisites and facilities assured at the time of booking.
However, the hotel staff allegedly harassed her.
