Jammu: Curfew continues in Kishtwar following fresh clashes

Jammu [India], Sept. 26 : In Jammu and Kashmir, curfew in the clashes-hit town Kishtwar in Jammu region continued for the second consecutive day today.

Although no fresh clashes or violence was reported from anywhere in the district, the curfew has not yet been lifted.

Mobile internet service has also been snapped in the area to prevent trouble-mongers from spreading any rumour.

Curfew was clamped in Kishtwar yesterday following clashes and unrest over the arrest of three persons.

The persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in instigating people to violence and disrupt peace.
