Lok Sabha MP Renuka Sinha dies, Mamata grieves

Cooch Behar, Aug. 18 : Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) from Cooch Behar and All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) leader Renuka Sinha died on Thursday due to heart stroke.

Sinha, 67, died at 8.30 p.m. at a private hospital. She contested from Cooch Behar and won the 2014 Indian General Elections. She was a graduate from Calcutta University. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to twitter to express her grief, "Very saddened. Our sitting Lok Sabha MP from Cooch Behar Renuka Sinha passed away. Deepest condolences to her family. Rest in Peace.".
