New Delhi [India], Nov.24 : 'Mubarakan' has been creating all the right noise since its announcement and now it kick starts its first schedule in Chandigarh with much celebration.
For the very first time, the 'Chacha-Bhatija' jodi, Anil Kapoor and nephew Arjun Kapoor have come together for a film, which has built umpteen excitement among the audience.
Though the Jhakkas Kapoor has no scene in this schedule, he flew down to Chandigarh especially to surprise his nephew.
"It's a very emotional moment for me as this is the first time I am working with Arjun and I wanted to be by his side on the mahurat day.
He was quite surprised when I entered his room. He will start shooting from Thursday while I will join them in January for a song sequence in Mumbai and will head to London by the month-end to shoot other portions," Anil shared.
The 'Ki and Ka' actor will be playing a Sikh for the first time and has put in immense hard work to get into the skin of the character.
The Triple A of 'Mubarakan,' Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Anees Bazmee were welcomed by pomp and pride through an unconventional entry on a chariot to the sound of band baaja and some balle balle on dhol beats.
"It's always a pleasure to be in Chandigarh. Amazing welcome, amazing people and an amazing way for them to say Mubarakan to us for starting here. I really can't wait for the madness to begin," Arjun smiled and shared. The first schedule of Mubarakan, which is 2017's First Big Family Comedy Film, will witness a 12-day-shoot schedule in Chandigarh.
Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Murad Khetani's Cine 1 Studios and Ashwin Varde, the movie will be releasing on July 28, 2017.
