Musharraf eyeing opportunity to make a political comeback in Pakistan: Bhim Singh

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India] Oct. 3 : National Panthers Party leader Bhim Singh on Monday said that former Pakistan president general General (retired) Pervez Musharraf is repeatedly training his guns on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a bid to make a political comeback in his country.

Singh said, "Musharraf is trying to earn his entry back in Pakistan. He cannot feel comfortable in Pakistan as long as the Prime Minister is Nawaz Sharif. I would like to say that it is not easy for him to make a comeback. In Pakistan, there is internal rivalry between the army and the civilian government." Taking on the Sharif-led government, Musharraf has claimed that Pakistan is facing international isolation thanks to its wrong policies.

Musharraf's statement comes in the wake of the postponement of the 19th SAARC Summit that was to be held in November in Islamabad, after India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Sri Lanka pulled out citing concerns over terrorism.
